Maybe you have experienced that initial rush of setting a New Year's resolution, only to find it fading away as weeks pass. The secret to avoiding this common pitfall?

Knowing yourself deeply.

When we understand our inner workings, strengths, and weaknesses, our resolutions transform from wishful thinking into achievable plans.

For instance, if you're someone who does well in a group setting, choosing a solo fitness routine might not be the best approach. Instead, group classes or a workout buddy could be your key to success.

I'll share a story with you of how it worked for me...

Personal Journey: Discovering Strength in Accountability

On a personal note, I've recently started weightlifting. Little secret here...I loath weightlifting! I just find it boring. But! For the past eight weeks, I've been consistently lifting weights, and the results have been nothing short of amazing.

The secret to my consistency? An accountability partner. Having someone to share my progress with has been incredibly motivating. And not only that, my accountability partner is really into weightlifting! I'm learning so much.

It's a strategy that might work for you too, especially if you find strength (pun intended!) in joint efforts.
